Painting contractorsSpeed to lead for painting contractors
Painting leads shop around. The first company to call usually gets to quote first. AI Speed to Leads emails every lead in seconds, then has Lily, our AI assistant, call in about a minute, ask what is being painted and when, and book the estimate on your calendar. We run it on our own painting lead sites first.
Eye To Ad Media operates painting lead sites in Colorado, including Painter Hotline and Denver Paint Contractors, and uses this same system to answer them.

Interior, exterior and commercial each get their own branch. Lily asks what a good estimator asks on the phone, one question at a time.
- Interior, exterior, or both? Sets the branch and the season.
- What's being painted? Rooms and ceilings, trim and cabinets, or siding type and number of stories.
- Is there peeling, wood rot, or old lead paint concerns? Prep drives the price; your estimator wants to know first.
- Do you own the home, or is this a rental or commercial property? Commercial goes to the commercial calendar.
- When do you need it done? HOA letters, a listing date, a move-in, or "this summer".
- Have you picked colors, or do you want help with that? Flags a color consult.
- Are you getting other estimates? Rep knows the field.
- Will the decision-maker be home for the estimate, and what day works? Then Lily books it.
A / B / C scoring, painting example
| Tier | What Lily heard | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| A | Owner, whole exterior or three or more rooms, wants it within 60 days, in your area, decision-maker available. | Estimate booked on your calendar. Alert to your phone, recording and summary attached. |
| B | Single room or small touch-up, "sometime this year", or a commercial inquiry with no timeline yet. | Summary to your inbox. Lily offers a second call time. Your office follows up during the day. |
| C | Out of area, a tenant without owner approval, handyman request you do not take, or asked not to be called. | Polite email with your info. No estimate booked. Opt-outs blocked. |
Seasonal rule: in exterior season, Tier A can require exterior work; in winter, interior jobs go to the top.
In May you can't answer the phone. In January you can't afford to miss it.
Exterior season buries a painting company in leads while every crew is on a ladder. Winter is slow and every interior lead counts. Lily works the same in both: email in seconds, a call within about a minute between 8 am and 8 pm in the lead's time zone, and a booked estimate on your calendar. After 8 pm the lead gets the email right away and the call at 8 am, before your first crew loads the van. After-hours lead response.
- We eat our own cooking. Eye To Ad Media runs painting lead sites in Colorado. The leads they generate are answered by this same system before they go to partner painters.
- Commercial branch. Property managers and GCs get a different opening and route to your commercial estimator.
- Old estimates. Unsold estimates with written consent on file can get a scheduled follow-up call. Lead reactivation.

Straight answers
Can Lily give a ballpark price?
Only a range you give her, stated as a range, with the estimate as the real number. Most painters prefer she says that pricing depends on prep and square footage and that the estimate is free.
Do you share painting leads with other painters?
Not from your forms. Your leads are yours. Separately, Eye To Ad Media runs its own painting lead sites and places those leads with partner painters under their own agreements; that is a different service and never mixes with your data.
What about leads in Spanish?
Spanish-language calls are on the roadmap and not live today. Spanish leads get the instant email and a flag so your bilingual estimator calls them first. Ask us on the call where it stands.
How fast can a painting company be live?
Instant Reply usually within a few days. Lily's calls follow once your questions and script are approved, often inside two weeks. Texting arrives after carrier registration.
