Solar, windows & sidingAI lead qualification for solar, window and siding dealers
High-ticket home improvement lives or dies on qualification. AI Speed to Leads emails every lead in seconds, then has Lily, our AI assistant, call in about a minute and ask the questions that matter: own the home, roughly what the utility bill is, whether both spouses can attend. Qualified leads get a site survey or in-home appointment on your calendar.
Solar is the most-litigated vertical under the TCPA. We call only people who just submitted your form with your consent checkbox. Never lists, never cold calls. How we stay inside the rules.
Expensive leads, long sales cycles, and a rule book with teeth

Podium, home servicesThe high-ticket qualifier set
Solar, windows and siding share one problem: a wasted in-home visit costs a half day. Lily asks what your best setter asks, one question at a time, and books only when the answers line up.
- Do you own the home, and is it a single-family house? Renters, condos and HOA-restricted roofs are routed differently.
- Roughly what's your monthly electric bill? (Solar.) Or: how many windows, or what's the siding and how many stories? (Windows and siding.)
- How old is the roof? Solar on a roof due for replacement is a different conversation.
- Will both decision-makers be home for the visit? One-legger appointments are the biggest waste in this trade.
- What's driving this: the bill, an incentive deadline, a sale of the home, or damage? Sets urgency and the rep's angle.
- Have you had other quotes? Rep walks in knowing the field.
- Any shading, a new roof planned, or a battery or EV in the picture? (Solar.) Or: any rot, drafts, or a specific window style? (Windows.)
- What day and time works for a 60 to 90 minute visit? Then Lily books the survey.
A / B / C scoring, solar example
| Tier | What Lily heard | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| A | Owns a single-family home, bill above your threshold, roof under 15 years, both decision-makers available, in territory, valid mobile. | Site survey booked. Rep gets the alert, the recording and a one-paragraph summary. |
| B | Owns the home but one spouse unavailable, bill borderline, roof due soon, or timeline "next year". | Summary to your setter. Lily offers a second call time. Your team decides whether to run it. |
| C | Renter, condo without roof rights, out of territory, DIY parts inquiry, or asked not to be called. | Polite email with your info. No visit booked. Opt-outs blocked instantly. |
Window and siding dealers swap the bill question for window count or siding type. Thresholds are yours. AI appointment setting.
Why "consent-only" is not a footnote in solar
Solar is one of the most heavily litigated consumer categories under the TCPA, mostly because of lead sellers and dialers calling people who never asked. In February 2024 the FCC ruled that AI-generated voices are "artificial" under the TCPA, which means an AI call to a cell phone needs prior express consent. The one-to-one consent rule that would have required naming each seller was vacated in January 2025 and later repealed, but the basic requirement did not move: consent first, or no call.
- We call only your own form leads. The person just asked you to contact them and checked your consent box. The wording, time and page are stored with the lead.
- We never buy, dial or import lists. No aged solar leads, no "opt-in" data from a third party. If a lead did not come through your form with consent, Lily does not call it.
- Says it's an AI, honors "stop" instantly, stays inside 8 am to 8 pm local. Two call attempts at most, within 24 hours of the request.
- Your consent language. We give you a checkbox line that names your company and says an AI may call. Your attorney should review it. Compliance page.

Straight answers
Will Lily call aged or purchased solar leads if we have them?
No. Lily calls only people who just submitted your form with your consent checkbox, or existing customers with written consent on file. Purchased lists and third-party "opt-ins" are where most solar TCPA suits start, and we do not dial them under any plan.
Can Lily talk about tax credits and incentives?
She can say that incentives exist and that your consultant will explain which apply. She does not quote credit amounts, promise savings, or give tax advice.
Does Lily ask about the electric bill?
Yes, as a rough monthly number, because it is the single best qualifier for solar. If the homeowner prefers not to say, Lily moves on and the lead is scored on the other answers.
What consent language should our landing pages use?
An unchecked checkbox that names your company, says an AI assistant may call and (soon) text the number provided, notes that consent is not a condition of purchase, and links to your privacy policy. We supply the wording; your attorney reviews it. Compliance details.
