Hatch vs Structurely vs Smith.ai vs AI Speed to Leads: what each actually costs

Four very different products get lumped together as "AI lead follow-up." Here is what each one is for, what it publicly costs as of October 2026, and how to tell which one you are actually shopping for. We include ourselves and say plainly where our price is "quoted."

Key takeaways

  • Hatch publishes no prices: platform fee plus usage, annual agreement billed monthly per location. Built for multi-location home improvement.
  • Structurely publishes $99, $499 and $2,499 per month tiers by conversation volume, plus add-ons.
  • Smith.ai prices per call: AI from $1.60, hybrid from $2.50, human from $7, with a $3 human-escalation fee.
  • Inbound receptionists like Dialzara ($29 to $349) and Goodcall (from $79) are cheap because they do not make the outbound speed-to-lead call.
  • AI Speed to Leads is quoted per client on a 15-minute call. We do not publish a number yet and we are not going to pretend otherwise.

First, what are you buying?

Three different jobs hide under one label:

  1. Speed to lead (outbound). A lead fills out a form; something calls or texts them within minutes, qualifies them and books. Hatch, Structurely and AI Speed to Leads do this.
  2. AI receptionist (inbound). The phone rings; something answers, routes and books. Smith.ai, Dialzara and Goodcall do this. Structurely and we do it as well.
  3. Platform. A toolkit you or an agency builds agents on. Synthflow and Retell. Not covered here because the price depends on what you build.

If you compare a $29 inbound receptionist with a quoted speed-to-lead service, you are comparing a phone with a sales rep. The three categories explained.

Hatch

Hatch is the incumbent in home-improvement follow-up. Its Speed to Lead product runs an AI voice call, then an SMS about two hours later, then an email a day later. It has per-source integration pages (Angi, Yelp, Google LSA, Thumbtack) and per-CRM pages (LeadPerfection, improveit 360, AccuLynx, and several bath brands). It publishes customer-reported results such as 2x set rate and 3x set rate claims. What it does not publish is a price. Reviews are mixed: Capterra shows 3.5 of 5 from 40 reviews, with the most critical ones about pricing opacity and the product not matching the sales pitch.

Who it fits: a multi-location company with a marketing team that wants a platform and can sign an annual agreement per location.

Structurely

Structurely is the most transparent on price and the closest to us in mechanics: AI voice plus SMS and email, inbound and outbound, appointment setting, live transfer, and a "get a live demo call" button that has the AI call your phone. Its roots are real estate and mortgage; home services is a newer lane. Its white-label program is aimed at CRMs and agencies.

Who it fits: a team that wants published tiers, is comfortable configuring an AI product itself, and has conversation volume to fill a tier.

Smith.ai

Smith.ai sells answering, not speed to lead. The product is an AI receptionist with optional human receptionists behind it, priced per call. The per-call model is easy to understand and easy to underestimate: a $1.60 AI call becomes $4.60 if it escalates to a human. It has home-services pages, but its strongest vertical and most of its case studies are legal. It also offers two live demo lines you can call, which we respect.

Who it fits: a business whose main problem is unanswered inbound calls and who wants a human fallback.

Dialzara and Goodcall

Both are inbound AI receptionists at small-business prices. Dialzara charges per minute, Goodcall per unique caller. Neither leads with outbound speed to lead; Dialzara's outbound agents start at $750 a month. Neither has home-improvement vertical content or a published consent and TCPA policy for outbound calling. If you only need the phone answered, they are the cheapest way to do it.

AI Speed to Leads

We are the newest and smallest company on this list, and we are an agency product: Eye To Ad Media in Denver built it to answer the painting and bath leads we generate for ourselves and our clients. What is different:

  • Consent-only outbound. Lily, our AI assistant, calls only people who just submitted a client's form with the consent checkbox. No list dialing exists in the product. Compliance page.
  • Email in seconds, AI voice in about a minute. Texting is coming after carrier registration; we say so on every page rather than claiming parity.
  • The demo is the product. Type your number on the demo page and Lily calls you, the way she would call your lead.
  • Terms agreed on a 15-minute call.
  • Price is quoted. It depends on lead volume and how many forms we connect. We are taking a small number of founding clients and we will publish numbers when they are stable. What each plan includes.

What we do not have yet: published case studies, a Zapier listing, texting, or a BAA for clinics. If those are must-haves today, one of the vendors above may fit better, and we would rather say so.
